Doors open 7.30pm, please have your prints in at 7.30, so that they can be organised and the judges have an extra few minutes to view them. Please insure that you have your prints ready with your letter on the back and each print numbered. Judging should be finished just before 10pm. If it is your first time to enter the competition please note that you are not allowed to make comments from the floor about how your prints are being marked. Bob Morrison and another member of  Mullingar Camera Club will be on hand to judge all prints.  Bob is a very fair judge and each print will be judged on it’s merrits regardless of subject or style.

The club are trying to get a panel of images ready for this event. Any member that has not got a distinction can enter images so will members new and old start bringing in photos so we can gather them and start to make up the two panels . One panel will be in colour and the second will be black and white. We entered the shield last year and did quite well but with the standard of the images coming into the club we know we can improve on this. This is a great chance to show our work and to judge our work against other clubs. So please start bringing in photos as soon as possible .
