Morning Glory
Posted on March 6th, 2009 2 commentsI was asked to put this photo online for club members to see – it is the photo that was awarded a bronze medal at the IPF shield last November. This image was also used in the Daily Mirror calender 2010

All the credit goes to Paul Lalor, as without his work there would have been no entry from the club and so no medal. He even named the shot so thanks again Paul!

February 2009 competition winner
Posted on February 28th, 2009 No commentsThe winner of the February 2009 photo of the month was me – Con Murphy. The subject was Macro. I took this photo one day when the sky was grey and with nothing else to photograph.

It was dark so I shot this at ISO 640, f5.6 at 1/85th of a second with a 70/300 lens. The only thing i did in photoshop was to sharpen slightly.
